Liberia Guanacaste Airport (LIR – Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport) — is the primary gateway to the beautiful beaches, resorts, and natural wonders of Guanacaste, Costa Rica. A modern and efficient airport, LIR is minutes from the city of Liberia, and offers convenient access to Costa Rica’s Pacific coast – including Tamarindo and the area’s world-famous beaches. This airport is the perfect entry point for visitors seeking adventure and relaxation.

I will track your flight’s status for changes to arrival/departure time and adjust my schedule if necessary. Upon your arrival at the airport, I’ll greet you with my Beach & Beyond Custom Excursions hand-held sign outside the main terminal, to ensure a smooth transfer to my van so we can get you on your way.

- More than just a transfer: Interested to know more about the scenery? Live, engaging narration highlighting local points of interest along the route; or alternatively, quiet time in the shuttle after your flight.
- One-way or round-trip, door-to-door transfers are scheduled entirely around you. Arriving at Liberia Airport or returning for departure, I’ll pick you up at your door and get you to your destination comfortably and on time
- Point-to-point transfers: Travel easily and stress-free between hotels, Airbnbs, or resorts, with direct, door-to-door service, wherever you’re headed
- Free, 1-hour grocery store shopping stop available: Your vacation rental may be ready, but the kitchen is likely unstocked. After a long travel day, we can stop at a local grocery store — or even a roadside fruit stand — to stock up on essentials on the way to your destination. Need more time to pick up some more things? Additional fee: $20
- Traffic conditions on Highways 21 and 155 between Liberia and the Tamarindo area can vary. Driving times may change depending on traffic and road conditions. Please anticipate slow driving speeds, which may affect the duration of your transfer/excursion.
